I first discovered Café Gourmand in Avignon. I lived in this little town in France for a month for an internship. This adorable town has great cafés, restaurants and Patisseries. My mum, who knows a lot about France, told me to try a Café Gourmand.... and so I did. I fell in LOVE! Now for those of you who don't know, a Café Gourmand literally means a greedy coffee. It was given this name because you not only get a coffee, you get a few little sweet pastry's with it as well. This invention has changed desserts for me. Now i'm not restricted to just one dessert, I can have 3 to 5 small ones! So now you see why I love them ;)
Now I live in Nice, Côte d'azur and it is my mission to try as many Café Gourmands as possible.
I'll be posting pics and comments as to where you can find these delicious treats if you decide to visit the Côte d'azur and of course if they are any good :P
